Piano Lessons North Shore and Sydney CBD is run by Mike who holds an AMusA and Bachelor of Music. He is a multi instrumentalist and has been playing piano for over 30 years and teaching for the last 20. Mike teaches all styles, ages and levels. Our classes are structured and fun. You’re guaranteed to see weekly progress and will be playing songs before you know it.

Mike is an awesome teacher for kids and adult. Not only Mike is an exceptional professional himself, he's very patience and has unique techniques to teach and motivates his students. Mike is also very flexible and will tailor the course for individuals' needs. He's great in simplifying complex concepts to young children. I'm so pleased to see my 5 years old son progress with his guitar skills and my 10 years old daughter grows her enthusiasm with piano; and my husband uncovering his musical talents. Beginner Piano Lessons North Shore and Sydney CBD

At your first piano lesson, we’ll discuss your expectations and tailor a course that’s right for you

We use a wide range of internationally acclaimed texts and experience to get you started

Beginner pianists can expect to learn:

Music notes
Piano rhythm and chords
Music technique

Once we’ve built a solid foundation we’ll then explore all the different piano genres available to a pianist like contemporary, pop, rock, classical, jazz

We can also focus on Australian Music Examination Board Exams, musical theatre, singing etc.

As we progress, you will learn more notes, theory, styles, rhythms, improvisation and songs

Students will find their Piano Lessons fun and at their own pace.

We will discuss your current status, technique, piano lesson history, future goals, any exam requirements and performances.

By doing this we won’t waste any time and move straight to correct technical development exercises in your first class.

All you’ll need is the internet, your piano and a webcam, it’s that easy, we’ll provide all the learning material
