If you’re playing the acoustic with a pick the short answer is NO.
The physiology will be different and there may be some slight variations in technique such as percussive tapping or bends however all the core stuff is the same [picking and strumming] and the theory remains unchanged + with an electric you’ll sound better with an amplifier and can have some fun with the different effects
The changes are slight and I’m sure you’ll adapt where needed. Don’t hold back!
If you’re a fingerpicker you’ll be able to finger pick the electric however if you have fat fingers like me a plectrum is more useful (which may require some technique retraining)

Hope this helps
